A Pet Check-In is a short, professional visit where we check on your pets when you can’t be home. During each visit, we ensure your dogs and cats are fed, hydrated, safe, and comfortable. We also provide light companionship, a quick potty break or litter check, and a wellness observation to make sure everything looks normal before you return.

2. How long does a Pet Check-In visit last?

Each visit typically lasts 15–30 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs. Our goal is to give your pet focused, loving attention — not just a quick stop — so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

3. What pets do you care for?

We currently offer Pet Check-Ins for dogs and cats. If you have small pets such as rabbits or guinea pigs, please ask during your free meet-and-greet — we may be able to accommodate them depending on their needs.

4. Do you require vaccinations?

Yes. For everyone’s safety, all pets must be up to date on vaccinations (including rabies). You can share proof by email or bring copies to your free initial meet-and-greet before your first visit.

5. What is the initial meet-and-greet?

Your first meeting with Love Furry Babies is a relaxed, no-charge visit to help your pet get comfortable with us. We’ll meet you and your furry baby, review routines, check food and water locations, discuss any special needs, and go over access instructions. This meeting ensures trust and familiarity from day one.

6. What happens on rainy or stormy days?

Safety comes first. On rainy or stormy days, we’ll adjust visits to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Dogs may have quick potty breaks under covered areas, and cats or indoor pets will receive extra playtime or attention inside. You’ll always get an update if outdoor activity must be limited.

7. What if my pet has an accident indoors?

Accidents happen — and that’s okay! We’ll clean up as best we can using your provided cleaning supplies. Please show us where to find paper towels, pet-safe cleaners, and trash bins during your meet-and-greet. This ensures your home stays fresh and your pet stays comfortable.

8. What do I need to prepare before my first check-in?

Before your first visit, please complete our Pet Check-In Preparation Checklist.
We’ll need:

• Feeding and watering instructions
• Potty or litter box details
• Cleaning supply locations
• Access information (key, code, or lockbox)
• Emergency contact and vet info
• Vaccination proof
• Any behavioral or medical notes

• Single Pet Check-In: $20 (one pet)
• Each Additional Pet: +$5
  No contracts, no hidden fees – just flexible, on-call care whenever you need it.

12. What if my schedule changes last minute?

We understand that life happens! You can text or call us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to adjust or reschedule your visit. There’s no charge for reasonable same-day adjustments. If we are already enroute, there may be a half price charge.

Yes! You’ll receive a photo and text update after every visit so you know your pet is happy, safe, and cared for.
